Yesterday on Monday 24th September after lunch Room 7 was going to head out for PE. They had earnt their free time last Friday, but it was raining so we couldn’t go out and I had promised them we could go next week instead. So PE it was…
After lunch room 7 had milk and Miss Ashley was reading a story about hunger games’ which is our class read aloud.Next we took a vote about what game we wanted to play for PE.We took a vote what to play for P.E,miss Ashley said we were not allowed to play golden child;bull rush or invisible touch.so we decided to play softball. But then miss changed her mind and we agreed we would play 20 minutes of softball then we play 20 minutes of touch (or any other game we wanted to play) afterwards.
We headed outside to the bottom field and waited for Waiari and Sumuree to bring out the softball equipment. I called “year 6’s line up behind Syariah-Lee and year 5’s behind Havea”. They did, then I instructed them to do paper scissors rock which Havea won.havea decided to bat so the year 5’s were sitting down waiting for there turn.and the year 6’s went in their places on the field. The first person to throw the ball at me “I said i am ready”.
In the end the score was 12-5 to the year 6’s. We stumbled around trying to pack up and headed back upstairs to get our bags. It was a nice afternoon playing with the students while I was feeling exhausted.
We were playing what miss call ‘easy rules’ where there was no fowls or anything, because it makes the game take longer and I wanted to ensure everybody got a turn.
“5 minutes to go and play!”. They all ran off. Some played touch; others played passes; others played races. The people were playing touch their names were timote;paula;Isia;Michael and lopi.

Here is our edited story.
Things we learnt about were
We aren’t allowed to use then, and, also and because at the beginning of a sentence.
Speech marks go on the OUTSIDE of the full stop or other punctuation.
The end of a sentence can be marked by a full stop, an exclamation mark or a question mark. You don’t need to put an extra full stop after a question mark.
Remember to check ALL capital letters. Sometimes we need to put them in and sometimes we need to take them out.
On Monday 24th September 2018 Room 7 did a blindfold challenge. We wanted to have fun and make our morning a bit interesting by playing a game.
Firstly Miss Ashley told us the rules which was “no touching the tables or pieces of paper on the floor or you will lose points.“ However you are allowed to touch the chairs because you sometimes have to step over them to get to the end. Next we got into buddies. My buddy was Lucina. We had to line up by the heater in our buddies.
First it was my turn to go so Lucina (my buddy) put the blindfold on me (over my eyes) and helped me to stand up. The blindfold was tight it felt like a constrictor boa on my face. I felt so confused and disorientated because the blindfold was covering my eyes. Lucina told me to “go left, right, straight and step over.” I was feeling nervous and a little bit scared because “what if she was tricking me?“ and I was really doing something silly. I got to the end safely and took my blindfold off.
Next it was my buddies turn so I helped her put the blindfold on. I told her to walk straight first, then next turn left. She doesn’t know her lefts and rights so she went the wrong way.I said “no your other left” and it was a little bit funny. In the end we got to the blue fruit tray and we made it without losing any points!
I think I would like to do this activity again because it was cool to do something different and fun in class especially since it’s the end of the term and I think we are all feeling kind of tired.

WRITE YOUR STORY HERE.
On Friday 21st of september 2018 9am room 7 students got into buddies miss ashley arranged the furniture then the partner had to blindfold the other partner in the front.
When I was blindfolded I felt lost in the woods/forest.when tipene was blindfolded I felt like I was a police guiding/looking after the blind prisoner.when I was blindfolded tipene told me to take a humongous steep then he tell me to crawl like a spider under the table.when I touched the chair I feel like a tower falling to die from a earthquake.
When miss called out our names we had to stand up and say to them turn right left and straight.you weren't allowed to touch the table and the papers and you weren't allowed to touch the door.but some people could walk on the chairs that the only thing you could touch.
It was hard because i fell and i lost points for my team.I felt lost in the dark forest and I felt challenged.my favorite obstacle was the second one because it made me challenge the game.
